Summary:
The Associate Director, Field Strategy & Analytics, Field Effectiveness, partners with Brand and Sales leadership to develop and execute data-driven field force strategies and analytics, optimizing go-to-market efforts, managing cross-functional collaboration, ensuring quality reporting, and supporting fact-based decision-making to enhance business performance and market understanding.
The key responsibilities and expectations for the Associate Director of Field Strategy & Analytics, Field Effectiveness focus on enhancing field force effectiveness through data-driven decision-making and collaborative analytics.
Responsibilities:
Lead Field Strategy and Analytics:
Partner with Brand and Sales leadership to define vision and strategy, enabling execution of analytics such as GTM optimization, sales force sizing, customer segmentation, and statistical analyses to improve field effectiveness.
Enable execution and delivery of all field effectiveness related analytics – Optimized Go-To-Market (GTM)/sales force sizing, customer valuation, segmentation, targeting & alignment, and statistical analyses.
Enable data-driven decision-making, generating insights, and providing strategic guidance to optimize business operations in Field Strategy and Analytics.
Identify opportunities for in-depth analytics based on ongoing trend assessments.
Develop standard cross-brand metrics/KPIs, and work with Sales and Marketing leadership to enhance value of information in business performance and execution reports.
Manage Analytics Delivery and Reporting:
Oversee the development and dissemination of performance reports, ad-hoc analytics requests, and self-service reporting tools, ensuring quality, timeliness, and actionable insights for stakeholders.
Execute market/business analysis to improve value to our patients through deepened market understanding and practical application.
Foster Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:
Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Customer Excellence/BI&T, and Commercial Analytics teams to address field force challenges, support fact-based decision making, and enhance analytics capabilities aligned with business priorities.
Collaborate with a broad set of cross functional counterparts (including Strategy & Operations Leads, Brand Leadership, and Sales Operations) to achieve organizational objectives.
Partner with Commercial Analytics Leads to identify and evaluate current and future analytics needs for responsible markets and brands in support of decision making.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
BA/BS required (quantitative area of study preferred)
Minimum 5 years relevant pharmaceutical/healthcare industry experience
Ideal candidate has a blend of experience in performance management to build metrics and Targeting & Alignments
Strong experience working with structured/unstructured data
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience of secondary healthcare data (ie: EMR, Claims, Sales)
Experience operating successfully in a complex organizational environment
Experience interacting with senior management, understanding, anticipating, and fulfilling their insight/analytical information requirements
Competencies:
Ability to draw inferences from disparate data sources, identify key findings, link to implications and provide recommendations in a digestible and business-friendly format
Strong oral/written communications and presentation skills
Proven ability to lead teams and influence cross-functionally in a matrix environment
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with diverse teams across organizational lines and structures
Hands on experiences with data manipulation and visualization tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, SAS, etc.
Proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Suite

Compensation Overview:
Princeton - NJ - US: $167,540 - $203,013
The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
