Manages and develops growth opportunities for an account portfolio in the Forest Products business unit of approximately $180 million, in Paper and Building Products
Responsibilities
- Design, market, sell and manage CSX Transportation services to customer portfolio
- Negotiate commercial proposals in conjunction with all relevant CSX groups including Marketing, Service Design, Operations, Customer Service, Industrial Development, etc
- Create and execute strategic account plans for customers by developing and selling CSX value proposition(s)
- Lead and strengthen business relationships within CSXT and customer organizations
- Establish measurements and feedback mechanisms to ensure customer requirements are met on a daily basis
- Miscellaneous activities and responsibilities as assigned by manager
Qualifications
Qualifications – External - Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/4-year Degree
- 3 or more years of experience in transportation logistics, supply chain, operations, Business /Strategic Management, Sales, Account Management
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate Degree
- 5 or more years of experience in transportation logistics, supply chain, operations, Business /Strategic Management, Sales, Account Management
Knowledge and Skills
- Problem-solving skills with sound time management and ability to be a self-starter working independently
- Project Management and leadership skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Oral and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively deliver presentations to a variety of audiences
- Knowledge of the railroad or transportation industries

This role offers an annual salary range based on experience and qualifications. In addition to base salary we provide an annual bonus opportunity.
