Are you ready to take the reins in a high-impact, high-tech machining environment where your expertise drives innovation and precision? Specialty Metals is seeking a CNC Machinist/Programmer to lead our daily operations—from quoting and programming to hands-on machining and team leadership.

Pay range $50.00 to $60.00 per hour.

What You’ll Do:
- Own the quoting and estimating process for customer RFQs
- Advise sales on machine time and tooling costs
- Develop NC programs using MasterCAM for mills and lathes
- Create setup sheets, tool lists, and documentation for flawless execution
- Design custom tools and fixtures to optimize performance
- Lead and mentor a skilled team of machinists
- Drive process improvements and uphold AS9100 standards
- Maintain configuration control and ensure safety across operations
Requirements
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of CNC programming experience (MasterCAM preferred)
- 8+ years of hands-on machining (Mill & Lathe)
- Deep knowledge of G & M codes, GD&T, and blueprint reading
- Proven leadership and communication skills
- Experience with Stainless, Aluminum, Titanium, Nickel, and exotic alloys
- Fixture design, tool selection, and setup sheet creation expertise
