Accelerator Technician II - Day / Evening

• Isolates equipment malfunctions using system knowledge, schematics, and parameter measurements
• Reads and interprets electronic schematics
• Performs soldering of electronic components
• Constructs lifting devices for equipment handling
• Assembles mechanical, compressed liquid, and gas components
• Designs and fabricates electronic circuitry and mechanical systems
• Operates and repairs radiation therapy equipment
• Collaborates with clinical and technical teams to ensure equipment readiness
• Performs other duties as assigned
EDUCATION
- Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Preferred: Associate's Degree From an approved technical program
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Required: Four years Troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment
- With preferred degree, two years of electronics experience is required.
- Preferred: Experience repairing microwave technology equipment or maintaining radiotherapy equipment, such as linear accelerators and experience in systems management.
