What You’ll Be Doing
As our Data Entry Clerk, you’ll be the point person for businesses and legal professionals who need to publish public notices, foreclosures, court filings, and other legal ads. Your job is part customer service, part sales, and part data accuracy — and every bit essential to the smooth flow of our advertising operations.
This is considered an entry-level position, ideal for someone looking to build a strong foundation in customer service, advertising operations, and data management.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Handling inbound and outbound communication with clients, responding quickly and professionally to questions or ad requests.
- Performing a high volume of data entry, entering orders and customer details into our ad system and ensuring information is accurate and complete.
- Managing billing accounts, processing payments, and coordinating with our credit team when needed.
- Working closely with our advertising and production teams to make sure ads are published correctly and on time.
- Following up with clients.
Work Environment
This position is office-based and requires the ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for extended periods. Occasional lifting or moving of items (typically no more than 10 lbs) may be required.
What We Offer
- Full-time, on-site role with weekday hours
- Competitive hourly wage
- Health and dental benefits
- Paid time off and holidays
- A friendly, local team environment where your work makes a real impact
Qualifications
- You're Likely a Match if You Have:

- A high level of attention to detail — accuracy is key in legal advertising
- Solid computer skills (ad entry, order systems, billing tools, etc.)
- Experience with Excel and databases is preferred
- A dependable, professional work ethic and consistent on-site attendance
- Experience in advertising, sales, customer service, or administrative roles (bonus if it’s in a newspaper or legal setting)
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred
