Assist Site Service Foreman with preventative maint. of various vehicles and equipment

• 1.         Performs periodic preventative maintenance repairs and inspections on all facility vehicles and heavy equipment.  Maintains and overhauls various garage machines and equipment for use to repair vehicles and heavy equipment. 

  2.         Repairs, cleans, lubricates and maintains vehicle systems such as drive trains, steering systems, front ends, hydraulic braking systems, ball joints, drive shafts, transmissions, rear ends, hydraulic actuators and brake lines.

  3.         Performs minor repairs to facility vehicles’ exterior and interior body parts.

  4.         Has a working knowledge of the safe use of power tools, shop tools, hand tools and testing equipment.

  5.         Works with vehicle technical manuals, electrical schematics and equipment drawings.

  6.         Maintains spare parts, hardware and equipment information file to include drawings, schematics, parts lists, cut sheets and operating instructions on facility vehicles and heavy equipment.

  7.         Performs periodic preventative maintenance of equipment and systems and maintains records of tests, calibrations, and inspections performed on heavy equipment.

  8.         Performs mandatory overtime and other duties as required (snow removal duties) and works with and assists other trades as needed.

  9.         Preferred qualification. Performs mig, tig, stick, aluminum and stainless-steel welding on all equipment as required

10. Follows AMC policies and procedures and adheres to Center safety

policies and regulations.

11. Provides assistance in all emergencies.

12. Responsible to conduct good housekeeping measures to promote

safety.  

13. When needed, management reserves the right to assign or reassign all

employees.
