The Supply and Logistics team is responsible for keeping the appropriate levels of materials and/or stock supplies with the aim to maximize inventory control and company sales. Organizes deliveries to meet given deadlines and customer expectations. Supervises and tracks the flow of materials and products from suppliers throughout the organization.

This role in summary

We are seeking qualified candidates for the Senior Manager North American Region (NAR) Supply & Demand Planning to lead and manage the Dish/Independent Business Unit Product Fulfillment Team (PFT) to deliver outstanding supply chain service levels across product availability and inventory while achieving the lowest total cost of acquisition and logistics. The Senior Manager NAR Supply and Demand Planning leads a team of Planning Managers and Sr Analysts and oversees an enterprise-wide supply chain operation with responsibilities oversupply production planning, demand planning and inventory management. This position is an integral part of the North American Supply Chain team. 

Your responsibilities will include

  • Monitor and measure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure that process is accurately and consistently executed.
  • Prioritize work to focus on the areas that will drive the greatest enterprise-wide business benefit while maintaining a balance in caring for the Customer and caring for the Company 
  • Drive process alignment across functions – make decisions when consensus cannot be achieved 
  • Lead & embed a culture of Continuous Improvement by developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills in others 
  • Lead, inspire, and motivate team members, by building trust and respect through daily interaction, engagement, and support employees for continued development and growth 
  • Demonstrate strong people leadership skills demonstrative of Whirlpool’s leadership model attributes 
  • Drive project initiatives, long-range planning, and other responsibilities as assigned 

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor Degree 
  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning 
  • 3+ years of People Leadership experience 

Preferred skills and experiences

  • Experience with SAP and Anaplan 
  • Experience with Continuous Improvement tools & methodologies 
  • Strategic Mindset-understands the big picture and creates effective strategies 
  • Experience leading, coaching, and mentoring in a virtual environment 
  • Communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and across various internal and external partners 
  • Leader, challenger, influencer-ability to facilitate large cross-functional groups 
  • Fluent in project and change management concepts/tools 
  • Cross-functional knowledge of the business 
  • Process development and execution 
  • Analytical-Identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction through data analysis, root cause investigation of issues
  • Personal accountability for results
