What the job looks like
Each day you’ll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:

  • Defining Global Operations Strategy, driving execution and managing implementation & progress
  • Co-creating Site/Functional Strategies and driving embedment & alignment into Global Operations Strategy
  • Leading Network Evaluations & Design across the supply network (internal & external supply), focusing on New Product Introductions, Due Diligences (Build Muscle and R&D), Partner Business and Contract Manufacturing Business
  • Monitoring Long Term Business Development and deriving implications & recommendations (Long Term Capacity Assessments, Make vs. Buy Assessments, Supply Resilience Strategies)
  • Leading Transformational Programs (within and/or across functions) from definition and analysis to implementation
  • Providing Ad Hoc Decision Support on highly cross-functional matters

 

What you’ll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

  • A university degree, preferably in science or industrial engineering, business studies
  • 5–10 years consulting experience in a leading consulting firm and/or extensive experience in pharma operations (e.g. manufacturing, supply chain/procurement, Quality Assurance / Manufacturing Science Integration)
  • Excellent communication skills in English at all levels of the organization, additional European language beneficial
  • Project management experience required
  • OPEX / Lean Six Sigma knowledge beneficial
  • A strategic and creative mindset, being a self-starter energized by problem solving and pushing new solutions, with a “hands-on” and “can-do” mentality
  • A high level of comfort with numbers and analytics, and a passion for solving problems using data-driven decision-making processes
  • Strong intercultural competence and excellent relationship management skills to inspire and motivate others, and to achieve optimal solutions together with a team
