The Infrastructure and Platform Services team (IPS) is the backbone of EA's global gaming ecosystem, delivering the technology that powers EA's live games and player experiences. From scalable cloud solutions to AI-driven gameplay services, IPS ensures that EA's games are available anytime, anywhere for millions of players worldwide.Our mission is to collaborate with game teams across the globe to deliver outstanding, feature-rich products on all major gaming platforms, including PlayStation, Xbox, Windows, macOS, Nintendo, iOS, Android, and new platforms.As Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of engineers in developing modern client SDK capabilities that integrate video games with networked services promoting seamless and feature-rich experiences for players worldwide. You will report to a Senior Engineering Manager and oversee a team of 5 direct reports. Responsibilities:You will develop a team of software engineers through regular one-on-ones, feedback, and performance reviews.You will set technical strategy and ensure best practices in software design, coding, testing, and deployment.You will partner with product managers, program managers and partners to define goals, scope, and timelines and oversee project execution to ensure delivery.You will champion continuous integration, automated testing, and monitoring to ensure high system reliability.Qualifications:5+ years of experience in software engineering, with 2+ years in a management roleExperience developing and shipping mobile games or applications across iOS and Android platformsProfessional experience working in C++Familiarity with Java, C#, Python, Objective-C and SwiftExperience collaborating with Product and Program ManagersThis is a hybrid remote/in-office role.
