The primary focus of the logistics analyst role is to support transportation and customer service functions which may include but are not limited too the following: supporting reverse logistics functions, supporting planning operations, process documentation / monitoring and project support as directed. This individual will also have the opportunity to support various aspects of TMS implementation and KPI development for multiple workstreams.
Independence Level/Reports to: Personnel must be able to work with a high level of independence. A self-starter / self-motivated individual will thrive in this role. The responsibilities and tasks for the team are not completely defined and may change in scope over the next 6 to 12 months. The chosen candidate will report to a local logistics supervisor and work activities will affect operations in North America (NA).
The role will allow a candidate to successfully support the returns process for Nalco Water, support shipment creation and a variety of order to cash functions. Candidates can also expert to support process documentation as well as defining success factors in a variety of PowerBI dashboards.

What You Will Do:
- Interface With Customer Service Teams In NA
- Create Return Deliveries, Return Shipments And Distribute BOL Outputs Through SAP
- Partner With External Parties Such As RMS To Book Carriers
- Negotiate Carrier Pick-Ups With 3rd Party Production Locations
- Maintain Return Process SOPs Through TMS Deployment
- Supervise A Local Team In BA Of 4 – 5 Individuals
- Support & Design Wave Planning Operations In NA
- Support & Design PGI Operations And Standards
- Documentation Of Work Processes & Procedures
- Maintain And Develop Communication Standards Between BA and NA Teams
- Frequently Collaborate With NA Based Logistics Managers And Associate Logistics Managers On Ad Hoc Projects
- Additional Duties As Assigned
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent logistics experience
- Excellent verbal, written and timely communication skills
- Excellent English-Speaking skills
- Experience with customer service
- Experience with SAP
Preferred Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or a related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Excel
- Experience with PowerBI
- Experience working with external support vendors
- Experience with SAP Logistics and Finance modules
- Transportation industry exposure
- Previous project management experience
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytical acumen, problem solving and process design experience
