As our Occasional Transportation Driver, you may cruise across the stunning VMRC campus, delivering safe, seamless, and delightful vehicular adventures for our notable residents. But that's just the warm-up! You will drive off-campus, shuttling residents to Life Enrichment (LE) programming that bursts with energy—think dynamic outings that create lasting memories. Dive headfirst into the action by teaming up with the LE crew to supercharge programs and activities, both on-campus and beyond, ensuring every event pulses with fun and fulfillment.

Starting base rate of pay is $15.00 - $17.79 per hour based upon previous work experiences and qualifications.

Requirements
- CDL REQUIRED
- Must have a current Virginia driver's license and a good driving record.
- Physically able to assist residents with transferring and ambulation.
- At least one year of experience working with older adults is preferred.
- Capable of working with other persons across campus.
- Able to present a favorable impression of VMRC to the public.
- Must provide outstanding customer service using a friendly, outgoing, and customer-first approach in person and by phone.
- Must understand and carry out oral and written assignments.
- Must be a self-starter/self-motivated, able to perform the duties listed in the job description independently with limited supervision.
- Must be willing to be flexible and accommodate changing priorities.
- Must have a pleasant personality and work closely with staff and the senior population calmly, cooperatively, respectfully, and professionally.
- Must have First Aid and CPR certification or be willing to obtain within 60 days of employment.
High school diploma or equivalent with the ability to safely operate VMRC vehicles.
