About the Role:
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker I to join our sanitation team. This role is essential to maintaining a clean and safe environment throughout our facility and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean general plant areas and equipment using tools such as brooms, brushes, spray bottles, mops, squeegees, water guns, air guns, and vacuums.
• Perform dry and wet sanitation procedures, including assembly and disassembly of equipment for thorough cleaning.
• Complete required training courses and documentation, including SSOPs.
• Collaborate with sanitation team members to ensure consistent cleaning across the facility.
• Maintain a clean work area and ensure it is properly cleaned before the end of each shift.
• Follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), allergen/sanitation controls, food defense/fraud protocols, HACCP/FSMA, SQF, and other regulatory requirements.
• Document and maintain preventative controls to ensure food safety and quality.
• Immediately report any food safety or quality concerns to management.
• Support a culture of safety by practicing safe work behaviors, reporting hazards, and participating in safety observations.

Qualifications:

• Education & Experience: Previous sanitation experience is a plus.
• Skills: Basic math skills, good manual dexterity, and clear vision are required.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and on your feet for extended periods.

Additional Information:

• This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• A commitment to safety, cleanliness, and continuous improvement is essential.
