Customer Service: Greet customers and provide assistance with inquiries, directing them to appropriate service areas or personnel.
Motorcycle Handling: Safely move motorcycles within the service department, ensuring proper storage and organization.
Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control by tracking incoming and outgoing motorcycles and parts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean motorcycles before and after service appointments, including washing, polishing, and detailing to maintain a professional appearance.
Assistance to Technicians: Support service technicians by retrieving and delivering motorcycles, tools, and parts as needed during repair or maintenance procedures.
Documenting Services: Record service activities accurately in the system, including vehicle information, service performed, and any additional notes or recommendations from technicians.
Facility Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the service area, including sweeping, organizing tools and equipment, and disposing of waste properly.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure working environment for both staff and customers.
Assisting with Test Drives: Occasionally assist with test rides or demonstrations for customers, ensuring proper safety measures are followed.
Other Duties as Assigned: Assist in various tasks as needed, such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, or supporting other departments within the dealership.
- Must have a valid motorcycle endorsement.
- Present a professional and well-groomed appearance.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must have a valid US government issued Driver's License, safe driving record and eligible to work in the United States.
- Capable of pushing and loading/unloading motorcycles.
- Maintain positive attitude with all employees and guests.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test.
