💲 Starting Pay: $24.84/hour🕐 Status: Full-Time | Immediate Hire

🕔 Schedule: 8:00AM - 4:30PM 

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking an organized and customer-focused Parts Clerk to join our team. The Parts Clerk plays a key role in ensuring a smooth flow of parts and materials, while maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal departments. This position requires attention to detail, accuracy, and a strong commitment to customer service.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle customer phone inquiries regarding parts in a professional, friendly, and businesslike manner.

  • Pick, pack, and ship parts accurately and on time (must be able to lift up to 50 lbs).

  • Deliver parts to customer locations and vessels as required.

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inspections to maintain operational readiness.

  • Support and implement safety programs in compliance with company policies.

  • Accurately invoice customers and manage purchase order processes.

  • Maintain order records for timely processing, shipping, and billing.

  • Monitor and document customer transactions accurately.

  • Enter and update inventory data into the computer system promptly.

  • Assist with other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Energetic, customer-driven, and able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

  • Minimum of 6 months of prior parts experience preferred.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs..

  • Must have a Valid Driver’s License
  • Must pass a pre-employment background verification, physical and drug screening.
    • The Federal Rail Administration sets and enforces safety regulations and standards for railroad operations. Use of cannabis is strictly prohibited. If applicable for the position you are applying to, and if you are offered the position, you will have to take and pass a drug screen.
  • Prior experience driving a company vehicle or operating a forklift is a plus.
