Experience planning, coordinating, or supervising youth camp programs.
Background in sports officiating, ideally with recognized certification.

If so, Recreation Services at Iowa State University is currently seeking applicants for an Intramural Sports and Youth Programs Coordinator! This position will be classified as a Recreation Services Specialist I.
What You'll Do:
Coordinate, plan, schedule, and supervise Intramural Sports activities.
Assist in managing and delivering Youth Programs (camps, clinics, events).
Support logistics for Youth Programs such as registration, scheduling, and communication with participants and families.
Evaluate programs and provide feedback.
Collaborate with marketing for program promotion.
Serve on departmental/division committees.
Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate student employees.
Support First Aid/CPR training and safety readiness.
Promote student development via Student Learning Framework.
Assist with expense tracking and revenue monitoring.
Provide input on equipment/supply needs and purchasing.
Stay current on risk management best practices.
Implement safety protocols and staff training.
Coordinate with Risk Management and EHS for compliance.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.
