Available Shifts:

• 3^rd Shift: M-F 11pm-7:30am ($19.38/hour + $1 shift differential)

JOB SUMMARY:

Operate bean cleaning equipment for the cleaning of beans for further processing and operate shell load out system.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• All operations, duties, and activities must be performed in accordance with safety, quality, and food security policies in order to ensure product that meets the standards of our customers and our company.
• Prepare, with the supervisor, the schedule of beans to be dumped in the order that best fulfills the needs of production.
• Operate various pieces of equipment within the bean cleaning system in a manner that provides cleaned beans for further processing.
• Some of other duties may include:
• Testing of the equipment for process efficiencies.
• Perform adjustments to equipment to maintain efficiency.
• Maintain shell load out schedule, and perform shell truck loading.
• Maintain contact with roasting department to assure bean availability.
• Perform various lifts and moves as requested with a fork truck.
• Perform propane tank changes on gas powered fork trucks.
• Follow cleaning schedule to control dust accumulation.
• Inform bean dumping of dumping schedule and bean segregation.
• Manage schedule so that needs for various bean types are met without production stoppages.
• Follow SOP’s, HACCP, and training standards as established for the area.
• Report any defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisor.
• Fill out required documentation for process and quality records.
• Must adhere to plant policies.
• Participate in CIT teams to identify process improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to create and follow schedules.
• Capable of safely operating a forklift.
• Must have basic mechanical understanding.
• Capture and minimize process waste.
• Ability to multi-task.
