Description

Hall & Evans LLC, one of Denver’s most established defense law firms, is seeking a full-time Accounting Assistant. This entry-level role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced legal environment with changing priorities and demands. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to assisting in collections, entering billing adjustments, processing cash receipts, researching third party vendor statements, and reconciling client accounts.

Requirements

Essential Skills

  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Adobe, and Word; MS Office 365 preferred);
  • Demonstrate ability to research and resolve errors or discrepancies, effectively and efficiently;
  • Self-starter with ability to organize work, manage priorities, and meet deadlines without constant supervision;
  • Strong multitasking skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse teams and clients;
  • Capacity to anticipate needs, and take initiative in a fast-paced environment, and;
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Job Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of hands-on accounting/billing experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services setting;
  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously;
  • Proactive, motivated, and adaptable—able to quickly learn new systems and processes, and; Willingness to work overtime when needed to meet deadlines.

The hiring range for this position is $50,000 - $57,500 annually.
