Job Description:
This job is responsible for conducting quantitative analytics and complex modeling projects for specific business units or risk types. Key responsibilities include developing of new models, analytic processes, or system approaches, creating technical documentation for related activities, and working with Technology staff in the design of systems to run models developed.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including model developers, QA and Operations teams to develop software applications supporting production processes of existing and new GRA statistical models.
Work closely with multiple stakeholders to capture application requirements and design optimized software solutions for GRA processes.
Implement, test and deploy high-quality Python applications for execution on in-house GRA Core Platform(GCP) platform
Identify deficiencies and propose enhancements to GCP platform features and work closely with GRA Tech team implementing solutions.
Work within Agile framework to ensure timely delivery of application solutions.
Optimize performance, scalability and reliability of new and existing common software components to be used by multiple GRA teams.
Participate in code reviews; contribute on design meetings; troubleshoot production issues.
Propose enhancements to existing processes as part Operational Excellence initiative.

Minimum Education Requirement:
Master’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience
Required Skills:
3+ years of experience developing, testing and deploying Python applications
Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodology
Proficiency in SQL queries
Project Management - Strong analytical, planning, problem-solving, management and organizational skills. Experience with project management tools such as JIRA.
Communicates and Influences - Possess excellent verbal and written communications skills including ability to clearly present results and ideas across multiple levels of management. Strong interpersonal & communication skills with ability and desire to build networks and work across multiple functions

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft suite
Desired Skills:
Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science and Engineering
Experience developing python applications to process large-scale datasets on Spark and Hadoop
Experience developing application on Unix or Linux
