Your role:
General Purpose: Ensure optimal use and functioning of the Epic EHR through efforts related to incident resolution, change management, system configuration, and collaboration at all levels of the organization.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the maintenance and day to day support of STRIDEs Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
- Provide tier II level support for EHR application related issues and requests originating from STRIDE staff
- Document, monitor, and resolve or escalate incoming help desk tickets related to the EHR and associated clinical applications
- Work closely with Clinical Informatics staff to inform and participate in application build efforts within scope of the organization
- Manage all security and user account management tasks specific to new users, terminations, and job role changes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal customers, organizational leadership, and vendor contacts
- Proactively identify impacts to the EHR or the work done by the EHR team when reviewing organizational efforts or goals.
- Serve as escalation point for Tier 1 EHR Clinical Applications Support role.
- Participate in and inform change management processes
- Learn and employ best practices for troubleshooting and documentation to ensure efficient issue resolution
- Support organizational projects with varying levels of complexity, priority, and timelines
Non-Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Attends all staff meetings and all other meetings as assigned.
Work Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Requirements
Knowledge, skill and ability:
- General Information Services support skills
- Ability to understand and interpret clinical needs and transform IT technical tools to meet those needs
- Strong analytical and communication skills including working directly with all levels of staff and vendors to determine solutions for business requirements
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of the HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules
- Ability to interact positively and build rapport with coworkers and/or external contacts
- Ability to work independently and organize work in a manner that ensures accuracy and efficiency.
- Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Ability to analyze business problems and implement appropriate solutions.
- Skill in using a variety of computer software including but not limited to MS Office products.
- Ability to handle sensitive information ethically and responsibly.
- Ability to protect the confidentiality of patient, employee and business information.
Education or Formal Training:
- Minimum Associates degree in Health IT, Computer Science, Health Information Management, or similar fields. Alternatively, relevant work experience would be accepted.
- Epic Certification in Ambulatory, Cadence, Professional Billing, or Wisdom a plus but not required.
Experience Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in EHR application administration and support, experience with Epic a plus.
- 3+ years; experience in a help desk/information services environment, previous experience with Community Health Centers a plus.
Material and equipment directly used: Computer, printer, multi-line telephone systems, fax machine, copy machine, calculator, and all Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, Work and Teams.
Working environment/physical activities: Office environment within a clinical setting. Moves/transports objects up to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 75 lbs. occasionally to various locations throughout the metro area. Communicates information to others. Discerns/analyzes information from others to assist in decision making. Some night and weekend remote support required.

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,983.00 - $79,638.00, depending on your experience.
This range reflects STRIDE’s good faith estimate of potential compensation at the time of posting. The final salary for the selected candidate will be determined based on several factors, including experience, education, budget, internal equity, specialty, and training.
