Job Description:

We are seeking an energetic Program Director in Reno, NV. The Program Director is expected to consistently demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and commitment to the organization’s mission. Key expectations include:

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
  • Engagement: Participate in meetings and trainings as required
  • Flexibility: Perform other duties as assigned based on program needs and organizational priorities

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Program and Contract Compliance: Ensure all host home providers adhere to conditions of contracts; including training, documentation, and regulatory requirements. 
  • Service Planning and Implementation: Facilitate and monitor the development and implementation of Individual Service Plans. Ensure these plans are person-centered, promote self-determination, and that providers are trained to track progress toward individual goals.
  • Regulatory and Quality Assurance: Maintain a working knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, as well as specific Dungarvin rules and regulations. Participate in Quality Assurance Reviews, licensing, and certification reviews to uphold program standards.
  • Provider Management: Oversee the entire provider lifecycle, from the development and onboarding of new providers to ongoing performance monitoring. This includes managing referrals, coordinating admissions, and ensuring all provider files and documentation are accurate and current.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for incident management. Coordinate communication with interdisciplinary teams, individuals served, families, and case managers.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping: Ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant with legal and programmatic standards. 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services-related field is preferred, along with one year’s experience working with persons with disabilities that meets the requirements of a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP).
  • Candidates without a bachelor’s degree may be considered with at least 5 years of direct working experience within the Human Services field. 
  • Prior experience supervising others is required.
  • Prior experience in developing and implementing individual programs, budget implementation, and contract management.
  • Must have strong decision-making, time management, and communication skills, and be responsible and flexible.
  • Be experienced in providing person-centered supports to people who experience developmental disabilities and autism.
  • Possess strength in administration, finance, leadership, communication, and teamwork.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license, auto insurance and a driving record that is in good standing
