Mental Health Team Leader Position Summary:
The Mental Health Team Leader for Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program assumes responsibility for developing, scheduling, training, and day-to-day supervision of staff and oversees the upkeep of assigned facilities. As well as ensuring the team is providing quality services using evidenced-based practices. This is a full-time position.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assuring client assessment, intakes, person-centered plans, medication reviews, notes, and all other documents are completed timely.
- Coordinating treatment and client stabilization with internal teams and community service providers.
- Ensure DLAs and authorizations are requested and current for member caseload.
- Facilitate a daily team meeting to review all clients on caseload and develop workable strategies for their treatment.
- Maintain total confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA law, CARF accreditation standards and Maryland State Regulations.
- Meet projected revenue targets of individual program.
COMMUNITY SUPPORT TEAM LEADER
Qualification, Education and Experience:
- Formal training at a master’s degree level in human services and/or at least five years’ experience working with people recovering from severe mental illness. A CRC or CPRP certification is preferred.
- Two years of supervisory experience.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Full valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Meet credentialing and privileging requirements as set out in Policy and Procedures.
