As a Security Professional - Commercial Real Estate Patrols in Rockville, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a commercial real estate location. You will interact with visitors and occupants, provide exceptional customer service, and respond promptly to security-related situations. Your role will involve monitoring assigned areas, communicating clearly with team members, and upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any unusual conditions, incidents, or potential security-related threats within the premises.
• Communicate and collaborate with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management team to address concerns and/or provide assistance as required.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patrols, incidents, and/or any other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Experience providing customer service is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid security guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
