Department: Inventory Control and Procurement
Reports To: Head of Global Trade, Senior Manager
Location: This position is onsite in Grants Pass, OR (preferred).
Remote work may be considered for candidates located in the following states: Arizona, California, Florida, Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, Maine, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Ohio, Oregon, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.

Job Summary
The Wholesale Sales Manager drives growth within the company’s wholesale customer base by working with the Head of Global Trade to develop strategic sales plans, manage key accounts, and build strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on — a “doer” who is motivated by numbers, thrives on solving problems, and collaborates effectively across departments. Success will be measured by meeting and exceeding sales goals, expanding market presence, and contributing to sustainable business growth. The ideal candidate for this role has knowledge of the botanical, natural products, and CPG industries, with proven ability to identify opportunities, negotiate agreements, and collaborate across teams!
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Account Management: Increase sales within assigned accounts and develop new business. Build strong relationships with customers, understand their needs and provide excellent customer service.
Contracts & Negotiation: Manage contracts from quoting to execution, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer satisfaction.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Procurement, Quality, Logistics, Operations, and Finance to ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
Market Awareness: Stay current on trends, competitors, and customer requirements; identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
Travel: Represent the company with professionalism at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events. Quarterly travel to the Pacific Botanicals site is required.
Administration: Complete reporting, forecasting, pipeline tracking, and documentation accurately and on time.
Qualifications & Skills
Skills:
- Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
- Ability to create plans, reports and analyses that drive business decisions and actions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated knowledge of and interest in herbs, botanicals, spices and fungi species.
- Experience with botanical, natural products, consumer packaged goods industries.
- Existing knowledge and personal experience with customer and supplier networks in botanical industry.
- Experience using ERP systems for Forecast-to-Produce, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash business processes.
Education and Experience:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in sales, account management, commercial operations, or a similar role — or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales, revenue, and margin goals.
- Experience managing customer or supplier relationships.
- Familiarity with ERP systems supporting sales, inventory, and supply chain processes.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally across procurement, operations, and logistics.
- Experience in botanical, mushroom, or natural products industries strongly preferred.
Working Conditions
- Work Environment: The position requires extended periods of time spent working on a computer.
- Travel Requirements: Up to 15% domestic travel to trade shows, facilities, and partner sites. Quarterly travel to the Pacific Botanicals site is required.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
