Petroleum Distribution Salesman – Findlay

About the Role:

As a Petroleum Distribution Salesman at Legacy Farmers Cooperative, you’ll play a key role in delivering top-quality petroleum products while building lasting customer relationships. This position combines sales, service, and delivery responsibilities, perfect for someone who enjoys a dynamic, hands-on role.
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver and manage a full line of petroleum products efficiently and safely.
- Make organized sales calls to current and prospective customers, documenting results for management review.
- Maintain accurate records for inventory, deliveries, invoices, and sales.
- Build strong customer relationships through excellent service and support.
- Lead by example, promoting safety and teamwork throughout the co-op.
- Adapt to longer or varied work hours during peak seasons; flexibility is key.
- Learn new processes and demonstrate skills as required to support business growth.
- Perform physically demanding tasks including lifting (up to 75 lbs), bending, squatting, twisting, and reaching above shoulder height.
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CDL – Class A with Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements.
- Safe driving record, verified and monitored by LFC’s insurance provider.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Able to work required hours, including long or irregular shifts during busy periods.
- Strong communication skills and customer-service focus.
- Basic computer skills.
