Overview: 

Marathon Pipe Line (MPL) is seeking a dedicated Construction & Maintenance (C&M) Supervisor to lead a team of four skilled hourly technicians based out of our Evanston, WY C&M Shop.  This hands-on leadership role responsible for directing the day-to-day activities of the Mt. West C&M Crew, ensuring the safe, effective, and efficient execution of construction and maintenance activities across Marathon facilities and right-of-way operations.

 

Responsibilities: 
1. Team Leadership:  Provide daily direction and support to technicians, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous growth.

2. Project Execution:  Oversee diverse C&M tasks including pipeline excavation and repair, and piping fabrication at Marathon facilities.

3. Operational Oversight Manage crew scheduling, participate in project reviews, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards and company procedures.

4. Partner & Asset Stewardship:  Collaborate with local operations and project leaders to identify and complete C&M work while safeguarding MPL assets along the right-of-way..

5. Process Improvement:  Drive continuous improvement and proactively manage risk to prevent incidents.

6. Financial Stewardship:  Maintain oversight of the Mt. West Crew’s O&GE and project budget.

7. Emergency Response:  Respond to stop-help-starts and other pipeline emergencies.

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Degree:Bachelors preferred, but not required.

  • Years Experience:3-5 years Pipeline Engineering or Construction Specialist experience, or 5+ years of C&M or Pipeline Operations experience preferred. 

 

Requirements:

  • Driving is an essential function of the job and a Valid driver's License is required.

  • HS Diploma or GED is required.

  • Willingness to travel up to 75%.
