Position Purpose: With the Fidelis Care NY Health plan accounting team, this position is responsible for revenue reporting and billing submission.

  • Assist with obtaining necessary documents for internal and external audits.
  • Review and verify manual and automated refund requests.
  • Work with the Accounting team to validate and record member write-offs.
  • Assist with Medicaid premium, kick payment and stop loss billing.
  • Assist with the reconciliation of denied payments.
  • Review and process Stop payments and reconcile Lockbox payments.
  • Review Medicaid Remit Lag reports for accuracy and investigate anomalies.
  • Assist with the reconciliation of Essential Plan Remittances.
  • Compile chart account information to ensure that financial transactions are properly recorded and accurate.
  • Review and compare monthly pass through liability accounts on the GL to verify accuracy.
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Preferred Skills:

Advanced Excel or Power BI skills

Experience or background in accounting or finance

Highly motivated, self-starter, full of initiative, team player

Working experience with SQL or Snowflake and Healthcare experience preferred but not required

Education/Experience: Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance or related experience, 1-2 years two years accounts receivable experience; knowledge of healthcare processes; in managed care, preferred.

Pay Range: $19.04 - $32.35 per hour
