Apto Solutions is hiring a Staff Accountant to join the Finance and Accounting team in Atlanta.
Responsibilities:
- Process accounts receivable, payment application, and related JEs
- Manage and develop (as needed) the AR and other accounting processes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software
- Manage order release process, interacting with customers and client services
- Assist with AP as needed
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Provide support for budgeting and forecasting processes
- Must have a 4 year Accounting Degree
- Experience as a Staff Accountant with high AP/AR involvement
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Must understand debts and credits
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Team Player, ability to contribute to a small team in a variety of ways
- Strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies or errors in financial data
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as QuickBooks is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
