Accounting Associate presso AAA Oregon/Idaho

AAA Oregon/Idaho is looking for an Accounting Associate to join our Automotive Accounting team at our administrative headquarters in downtown Portland!

AAA is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Accounting Associate to join our Automotive Accounting team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the timely and accurate payment of Emergency Roadside Services (ERS) providers, while also supporting member payment processing and internal billing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, clear communication, and a commitment to service excellence.  As part of the team, the Accounting Associate will work closely with ERS providers, internal departments, and the broader accounting team to audit service records, resolve billing discrepancies, and process member payments. This position requires a high level of accuracy, initiative, and teamwork in a fast-paced office environment.

Desired Skills

• Prior experience in customer service and administrative roles required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to make informed decisions, troubleshoot issues, and resolve discrepancies independently. 
• Research issues and resolve as necessary based on member service objectives and company values.
• Ability to work as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues, motivating others to action, establishing rapport, and gaining the trust of others.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with an emphasis on Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar platform preferred.
