ABOUT THE ROLE
The Manager, Talent Acquisition will lead and execute strategies that attract, engage, and hire exceptional talent to support our continued growth. Acting as both a strategic partner and hands-on recruiter, you’ll oversee the full recruitment lifecycle across key functions while mentoring a high-performing team. This role requires building scalable processes, leveraging data and technology, and fostering strong partnerships with leaders to ensure Welltower remains an employer of choice.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership & Planning
Lead full lifecycle recruiting for assigned corporate and field functions while managing and mentoring members of the Talent Acquisition team.
Partner with the AVP, Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners to design and execute recruiting strategies aligned with business objectives and workforce planning.
Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract top, diverse talent across all levels and functions.
Collaborate with business leaders to forecast hiring needs and establish short- and long-term talent pipelines.
Recruitment Operations & Execution
Manage all activity within the UKG applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
Partner with Compensation and Total Rewards to provide market-based salary recommendations and ensure equitable, competitive offers.
Build and maintain relationships with external recruiting firms, universities, and job boards to expand reach and effectiveness.
Process Optimization & Analytics
Evaluate recruiting processes, tools, and systems to identify opportunities for efficiency and improved candidate experience.
Leverage data and metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, quality of hire, diversity representation, candidate experience) to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
Stay current on talent market trends and emerging best practices to ensure Welltower’s recruiting strategies remain competitive and innovative.
Employer Brand & Candidate Experience
Represent Welltower as an ambassador of our culture, values, and mission throughout all recruiting touchpoints.
Partner with Corporate Communications and business stakeholders to strengthen our employer brand and recruitment marketing efforts.
Drive an inclusive and positive candidate experience across all stages of the hiring process.

TRAVEL
Some out of area and overnight travel may be expected.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in full-cycle recruiting, with at least 2 years in a leadership or mentorship capacity.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. Graduate degree or HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar) preferred.
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, drug screening, and verification of employment, education, and other credentials relevant to the position.
