The Kids Hope Alliance Department is actively seeking a Data Specialist.

This position reports to the KHA – Director of Data Systems and assists with all data systems duties, projects, customer service and deliverables as well as being responsible for technical research to support innovations in system development, reporting, data visualization, and collection.
Position Duties
Primary responsibilities include the following:
- Manages multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic work environment.
- Performs tier 1 and 2 SAMIS help desk customer service.
- Works with KHA staff to diagram and document business and system requirements and collaborate with the development teams to test and implement solutions.
- Assists with Computer/Data automation, technology, and computer systems administration.
- Creates organizational process assets such as: flows charts, mapping, and functional use case requirements that effectively communicate business needs.
- Assists with quality control and user acceptance testing.
- Compiles data and generates reports.
- Uses technical writing skills to develop formal process and procedural documentation.
- Supports SAMIS applications and processes.
- Assists with data systems technology research, development, and coordination of project deliverables.
- Identifies opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of procedures and processes.
- Troubleshoots application issues and work with development and administrative teams to resolve.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Other Qualifications
Position Requirements:
- Five (5) year combination of education and experience in project management; or at least two years of experience in Data Systems Technology required.
- Must pass a Level 2 background screening prior to employment.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Information Systems, Data Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, System Network Administration or Computer Engineering is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management, attention to detail, analytic and organizational skills.
- In-depth knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Visio, MS Teams and MSSQL.
