Job Description:
1. Industrial Electrical Systems – Proficient in troubleshooting 480V/277V/120V AC
circuits, control wiring, and three-phase systems. 5 years plus electrical troubleshooting.
• PLC Troubleshooting – experience diagnosing Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCs
and HMI interfaces.
• Motor Controls & Drives – Skilled in working with VFDs, servo systems, motor
starters, and relay logic.
2. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance – Ability to perform routine inspections, thermal
scans, and maintain detailed records in a CMMS system.
3. Safety & Code Compliance – Strong knowledge of Lockout/Tagout procedures.
4. Mechanical & Pneumatic Knowledge – Comfortable working on mechanical
components (actuators, conveyors, pumps) as part of troubleshooting.
5. Testing Equipment – Skilled in using multimeters and megohmmeters.
6. Instrumentation (a plus) – Experience calibrating and maintaining sensors,
thermocouples, and transducers.
Qualifications:
At least an associate degree or technical certification in electrical Maintenance, Industrial
Technology, or Mechatronics and/or 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a
manufacturing or unionized environment
1. Mechanical Systems Expertise – troubleshooting of industrial machinery, conveyors,
pumps, gearboxes, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems:
• Hydraulics & Pneumatics – Expertise in troubleshooting and maintaining
hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including valves, cylinders, and compressors.
• Machine Assembly & Fabrication – Ability to disassemble, repair, and rebuild
complex equipment components.
• Equipment Commissioning & Start-up – Hands-on experience with installing
and testing new machinery or upgraded systems.
2. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance – Planning and execution of routine inspections,
lubrication schedules, and predictive maintenance tasks.
3. Tools & Equipment – Competence in using torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers,
hoists, cranes, and other mechanical tools.
4. Safety & Compliance – Strong knowledge of Lockout/Tagout procedures.
1. Industrial Electrical Systems:
• Automation & Robotics (preferred) – Understanding of industrial automation
systems and ability to assist engineers in upgrades or integrations.
2. Electrical Drawings & Schematics – Able to read, interpret, and update electrical
blueprints and control diagrams.
3. Testing Equipment – Skilled in using thermal imaging cameras.
4. Advanced Diagnostics – Use of precision tools, vibration analysis, alignment tools, laser
alignment, and thermography to detect and resolve issues.
5. Mechanical Drawings & Schematics – Ability to read and interpret mechanical
blueprints, P&IDs, and schematics.
6. Welding & Machining (optional but preferred) – MIG/TIG welding, lathe/mill
operation, or fabrication skills.
