We’re looking for a dependable, hands-on team player to join our Plant Operations department as a Facilities Maintenance Assistant. If you take pride in keeping things running efficiently, enjoy working with your hands, and thrive in a dynamic environment, this role may be perfect for you.

As a Facilities Maintenance Assistant, you’ll support a wide range of building operations and maintenance tasks from setting up for events and moving furniture to performing light repairs and keeping our workspaces clean, safe, and functional.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with setup and takedown of events and meetings
• Perform minor building maintenance, painting, and repair tasks
• Move and assemble furniture and equipment
• Collect and remove trash and recyclables
• Pick up and deliver supplies as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Identify and report safety hazards or maintenance issues
• Support the Plant Operations team with other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
• Ability to follow directions and work independently or with a team
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects safely
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
• Valid Florida driver’s license

Job Type & Compensation

Job Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Schedule: On-site, Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

Target Pay Range: $16–$19/hour depending on experience
Work Environment: Indoor and outdoor facilities settings, including event areas and general operations spaces
