This position is in support of the Chief Engineer’s Office on the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program. We are seeking a dynamic and independently motivated candidate who will act as the engineering curriculum development and facilitator lead. The position requires that the hiring candidate develops and maintains FBM specific engineering training materials as well as research and incorporate Lockheed Martin Enterprise and Space training, to provide a consistent and relevant engineering training curriculum across the FBM portfolio.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Development of new training materials, revising existing curricula, and supporting virtual courseware updates and deployment.
• Adding and updating training plans in the training system (QCT)
• Preparation of course syllabi, lesson plans, testing, development of training manuals and the evaluation and quality assurance of training materials and procedures
• Identification of all required engineering source data and incorporating approved information into support products
• Interfacing with Engineering organizations regularly to keep training plans current
• Coordinating/suggesting changes to the engineering segment of the learning system (QCT) with the FBM Training Center of Excellence (TCOE)
• Identifying relevant engineering training metrics, routinely analyzing the metrics and reporting data trends to the FBM Chief Engineer and Engineering leadership
• Updating and revising the engineering training plan standard operating procedure (SOP) as needed
• Working with TCOE to update QCT training
• Assessing, working, and implementing training feedback from users

Basic Qualifications
• Experience in planning and conducting training for product end-users and stakeholders
• Professional writing experience, including editing and proofreading
• Basic technical engineering knowledge with the ability to connect knowledge, skills, and understanding of engineering processes and methodologies to personnel’s training plans
• Proficient in the MS Office suite of products, including Word, Excel, and Power Point
• Ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret clearance

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
