Location:Â Providence, RI
Reports To:Â Healthy Family America Supervisor
Employment Type:Â Full-Time - Monday through Friday- 8 hour shifts
Salary : $22.00/hr

As a Child Welfare Family Support Specialist, youâll work directly with families to build trust, strengthen relationships, and empower parents with the skills and confidence to create nurturing, healthy homes.
đ¶ What Youâll Do
In this meaningful role, youâll:
Provide compassionate, home-based family support services, including parenting education, child development guidance, and community linkage.
Partner with DCYF, healthcare providers, and community organizations to ensure families receive coordinated care.
Conduct home visits (12â14 families caseload) and support families through individualized goal planning and progress tracking.
Facilitate positive parent-child interactions that promote growth, resilience, and connection.
Prepare reports, attend court when needed, and actively engage in team meetings and supervision.
Help families meet milestones, access resources, and build lasting change â one step at a time.

Requirements:
High school diploma (Bachelorâs Degree preferred)
1â3 years of experience working with children or families (home visiting or child welfare experience preferred)
Bilingual skills are a plus!
Knowledge of child development and family systems
Valid driverâs license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
Comfort using computers and digital databases
