Position Overview:
As a Float Tech, you’ll be cross-trained in multiple service areas and ready to assist where needed—whether it’s pest control, termite treatments, or lawn care. This is a physical, full-time role where you’ll work indoors, outdoors, in attics, and on rooftops. Flexibility is key, as you’ll support both the PSL and Jupiter branches depending on the day’s needs.
What We’re Looking For:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

License: Valid driver’s license required

Experience: Pest control experience preferred but not required

Driving Record: Clean for the past 3 years
-
Skills: Strong communication, tech-savvy, great problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently

Qualifications
Responsibilities:

Inspect residential and commercial properties to identify pest issues and harborage areas.

Apply pesticides and treatments safely and according to all regulations.
-
Set traps, place bait, and remove pests or animals as needed.
-
Educate customers on pest prevention, sanitation, and storage best practices.
-
Recommend additional services based on property needs.

Provide detailed service notes using PestPac, including treatments applied and customer communication.
-
Collaborate with supervisors, sales, and quality control teams to deliver top service and resolve issues.

Complete a mix of route work, callbacks, and new account setups.
-
Respond quickly and professionally to customer concerns or complaints.
-
Maintain safety standards for chemical applications and re-entry times.

Keep service vehicle clean, organized, and properly stocked with materials and equipment.

Assist coworkers when needed and attend monthly team training meetings.
-
Use PPE and respiratory protection as mandated by OSHA.
-
Work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends, as needed.

Lift up to 50 lbs., access roofs using ladders, and inspect attics and crawl spaces.

Tolerate a range of environmental conditions including heat, humidity, dust, and confined spaces.
Paid Training Requirements:

Complete Nozzle Nolen Orientation & Training.
-
May be required to obtain state certification/licensing after on-the-job training.

Participate in additional training as assigned by your Supervisor or HR.
Qualifications & Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Must pass background and drug screening.

Previous pest or lawn care experience is a plus, but not required.
Skills & Abilities:

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Comfortable reading and following pesticide labels and safety guidelines.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Ability to build relationships with a diverse customer base.

Skilled in using job tools and technology (iPad, termite rods, etc.).

Physically fit with stamina to work on your feet and handle physical labor.
