ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
An employee in this classification is required to perform some or all of the following duties; however these do not include all of the tasks which the employee may be expected to perform: Provide maintenance and repairs to all CMH owned residential group homes; offer suggestions for major repairs and modification alternatives; maintain updated, complete and timely work orders; work independently and with assistance as needed; schedule workday efficiently; capable of carrying 50 pounds; comply with the
Transportation Policy (09-002-0010), Alcohol & Drug Testing Policy (06-01-0010), and the Background Check Policy (06-001-0015), as well as supervisors/designee directives; maintain confidentiality.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
There are no supervisory responsibilities with this position. This position receives supervision from the facility supervisor.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Technical Skills
- Education:
- High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) Certificate.
- Licensure:
- Valid Michigan Driver's License
- Experience/Skills
- Five (5) years' experience that is directly related to the essential functions
- Proficient in residential repairs, including carpentry, basic electrical, basic plumbing, basic HVAC, and painting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products: Excel, Word, Outlook
- Other:
- Must have access to transportation
- Must have home and/or cell phone
- May need to respond to after-hours/weekend technical problems

PERSONAL DEMANDS:
