Stellar Solutions is seeking an experienced Action Officer to support the Mission Operations Directorate (MOD) and senior leadership within the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO). The Action Officer provides coordination and execution support for technical, operational, and managerial inquiries and actions across internal and external NRO and MOD stakeholders. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, organizational discipline, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
In this position, you will translate strategic direction into coordinated staff execution, working across classified programs that demand discretion, clarity, and precision. The role combines elements of project management, executive support, and operational awareness, requiring agility to pivot between priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform and maintain support functions for the Mission Operations Directorate, including TIER and internal office actions
- Prepare, coordinate, and review leadership correspondence, responses, briefings, and reports for executive and senior leadership meetings
- Support the Director’s Action Group (DAG) by managing task assignments, meeting agendas, and follow-up actions
- Track and monitor progress on all assigned actions, generate metrics, and ensure accountability to established deadlines and standards
- Collaborate with internal and external NRO and MOD stakeholders to synchronize information flow and ensure accuracy in communication
- Participate in and assist with system and process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and responsiveness
- Ensure compliance with agency policy, task management standards, and security procedures in all deliverables and communications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 6 years of experience supporting senior-level government, military, or Intelligence Community offices
- Proven track record of success in high-tempo classified environments supporting government customers
- Strong writing, editing, and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues and translate them into actionable recommendations
- Experience using TIER or equivalent task management systems
- Must currently hold and maintain an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting the NRO Mission Operations Directorate (MOD) or other headquarters-level staff offices
- Familiarity with Action Officer workflows, correspondence control procedures, and IC task management systems
- Experience developing performance metrics or dashboards for task tracking and accountability
- Knowledge of process improvement or Lean Six Sigma methodologies
