🎯 What You’ll Be Doing
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and inspire teams across both hospitals through open communication, trust, and empathy.
- Cultivate a respectful, inclusive workplace where every team member feels valued and empowered.
- Foster collaboration between departments and locations to maintain a unified hospital culture.
- Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to support professional growth.
- Oversee day-to-day hospital operations at both locations, ensuring teams are set up for success.
- Partner with Medical Director to optimize scheduling, workflow efficiency, and client satisfaction.
- Manage inventory, vendor relationships, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure smooth coordination between emergency/urgent care and general practice teams.
- Collaborate on budget development, payroll, and hospital financial performance.
- Use data and KPIs to drive continuous improvement and inform decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for service growth and community engagement.
- Ensure every client experience reflects the compassion and professionalism of our hospitals.
- Partner with client service teams to resolve concerns quickly and empathetically.
- Build strong relationships within the Cookeville community and surrounding areas.
✅ What You Bring
- Experience: 3–5 years in veterinary or healthcare management (multi-site or ER experience preferred).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Veterinary Technology, or equivalent work experience to match.
- Preferred: Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT).
- Leadership: Strong ability to guide and develop diverse teams with empathy and accountability.
- Organization: Excellent problem-solving and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Technology: Experience with veterinary software systems (Cornerstone, EzyVet, or similar).
