Position Overview
Plans, develops, organizes, and manages Radiology and Nuclear Medicine services, ensuring timely and accurate patient care within financial and budgetary guidelines.

🔑 Core Responsibilities Overview
Leadership & Management
- Oversees 40+ FTEs across one or more departments.
- Manages hiring, assignments, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
- Ensures staff development and professional growth.
Operational Excellence
- Maintains budgetary and procedural performance.
- Develops corrective action plans for budget variances.
- Provides performance summaries and statistics to leadership.
Regulatory & Compliance
- Ensures compliance with JCH, Florida DOH, NRC, and internal standards.
- Maintains documentation for budget, procedures, performance, and regulations.
Strategic Collaboration
- Participates in corporate Imaging Council and workgroups.
- Coordinates with corporate radiology consultants on capital, quality, and systems.
- Communicates with Medical Directors and physicians to optimize operations.
Technology & Innovation
- Plans new diagnostic services aligned with technological advancements.
- Utilizes corporate Imaging computer systems effectively.
Safety & Attendance
- Ensures safety for all customers.
- Maintains punctual and regular attendance per policy.
Education/Training
- Required:
- Bachelor’s degree and current licensure in Radiologic Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography
OR - Master’s degree in a related field
- Bachelor’s degree and current licensure in Radiologic Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography
Licensure/Certification
- Preferred:
- Valid Certified Radiologic Technologist license by the State of Florida or Florida State License as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (renewed biannually)
- One of the following certifications:
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) by NMTCB
- ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers)
- BLS/Health Care Provider certification
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of management or supervisory experience in a clinical setting
