Ventus Solutions is seeking a highly qualified Biophysics Specialist SETA professional to support an innovative Program Manager (PM) in managing and advancing a portfolio of high-impact R&D programs. Collaborate closely with the PM to drive the vision and execution of breakthrough science programs. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong technical foundation in biophysics and microelectronics, a passion for cutting-edge science, and a background in industry commercialization or translational research. As a SETA, you will provide technical insight, programmatic support, and strategic analysis across the full program lifecycle—from concept generation and proposal evaluation to technical oversight and transition planning.
Work Location: Arlington, VA (Minimum 50% on-site required)
Required Experience:
- Ph.D. in Biophysics, Physics, Bioengineering, Biological Engineering or Chemical Engineering (Master’s degree acceptable with relevant experience).
- Experience in one or more of the following: mixed-signal ASIC design, BioMEMs integration with microsystems, back-end-of-line micro/nanofabrication, signal processing, DNA/RNA sequencing.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical engineering schematics.
- Demonstrated experience in technical commercialization or product development.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- U.S. Citizenship and active Top Secret security clearance.
