Job Description
The Associate Practice Engagement Manager (APEM) is responsible for all client interfaces within data & analytics. The APEM works together with their manager (Senior PEM/Group PEM) to build an account plan and is responsible for client management based on the account plan. Usually, the APEM handles a single account or part of a large account with a P&L of $10M.
This role demands deep SAP domain expertise, strong client engagement skills, and the ability to orchestrate cross-functional teams to deliver winning solutions.
Role Description
- Own the end-to-end proposal lifecycle for SAP pursuits, including solutioning, proposal writing, and orals preparation.
- Lead client workshops and Q&A sessions during the pursuit phase.
- Collaborate with TCOE, pre-sales, and delivery teams to bring industry-aligned solutions and benchmarks.
- Drive commercial strategy and value articulation aligned with client business outcomes.
- Ensure proposal quality and consistency across all deliverables.
- Support account mining and expansion initiatives in collaboration with segment sales and delivery.
- Act as a key liaison between SAP AE teams and Infosys internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education and 7+ years of experience, with strong sales/relationship management/account management experience
- 5+ years of experience in SAP solutioning, sales, or delivery roles.
- Proven track record in leading large SAP pursuits (S/4HANA, AMS, RISE with SAP).
- Strong understanding of SAP modules and industry-specific solutions.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and C-level stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working in a matrixed environment with global delivery teams.
- Good understanding of AMS and onsite/offshore model.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Travel flexibility required.
- Hands-on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentations
- SAP certifications in relevant modules or architecture
- Experience with AI-augmented AMS or proposal automation tools.
- Exposure to SAP BTP, Signavio, or SAP Cloud ALM is advantageous.
- Global Delivery Model experience
- Track record as an Account Manager in a rapidly growing client relationship
