What Will You Do?

The Engineering Coordinator brings clarity and efficiency to the daily operations of the Engineering Department by aligning workflow across the Engineering, Sales Engineering, Supply Chain and Production teams. The Engineering Coordinator will use technical skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment to ensure the engineering department is operating effectively.  The Engineering Coordinator will assist with data entry of new parts, bills of materials, and revisions into the business’ ERP system (IFS).

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Data entry of new parts and bills of materials, change orders, etc. 
  • Provide guidance from Engineering to Systems Integration team for ERP configurator programming
  • Develop and produce queries and reports from IFS and other sources for analysis of bill of material (BOM) costing and configurator programming checking
  • Assist in the documentation of standard work training guides and department procedures.
  • Enter and maintain part files within IFS.
  • Support development of department forms and templates
  • Proactively engage team members in a positive and supporting manner
  • Provide regular updates to the Engineering Leadership
  • Perform related work and special projects as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements for Effective Performance:

  • Two (2) year degree from an accredited program (Business, Engineering, or related field) is ideal.  Four (4) year degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of administrative experience with emphasis on supporting engineering design and build activities is preferred
  • Demonstrated skills in continuous learning, flexibility, customer focus, quality commitment and good relationships are required
  • Extensive familiarity and advanced experience required for all Microsoft Office Suite programs, including Outlook, Excel, Word is required
  • Prior experience with business ERP systems, proficiency with IFS preferred
  • Excellent time management and written/verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and high-level attention to detail, rigor, and accuracy
