Position Title: Revenue Cycle Manager- Full Time
Position Overview: Revenue Cycle Manager will collaborate directly with Patient Financial Services staff to ensure quality and efficiency of certain elements of claims processing and charge capture. They will also monitor. the timely and accurate charge posting of all types to the billing system to ensure correct and timely reporting of receivables in accordance with McKenzie Health’s policies, practices, and procedures. Position will support the HIM Manager with detailed account flow analysis and work standard review, especially as they relate to quality and production of work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure charges are flowing promptly and properly through the system.
- Track, trend, and analyze unbilled reports and troubleshoot root causes.
- Collaborate with relevant staff, providers, and managers to correct identified issues and help train on proper process. This interaction could be electronic, over the phone, or in-person. In-person interaction and training are preferred.
- Knowledge of the revenue cycle from different perspectives (both by job and Epic access) and ability to work through obstacles using good people skills.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes affecting charging practices.
- Review and support awareness of entry from all departments to ensure prompt and exact charges.
- Works work queues as assigned.
- Keep up to date on charge code and bundling requirements.
- Analyze balancing report daily to ensure exact posting, and charges within departments.
- Work with outside departments, specifically process improvement and the business office, to find areas needing improvement in the revenue cycle.
- Maintain knowledge of admission criteria, check admissions daily, and train providers and clinical staff on correct criteria.
- Function as a provider and staff liaison between the clinical and financial sides of the system
- Always Abide with HIPAA and McKenzie Health guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Must be able to communicate clearly with patients, staff, managers both verbally and in writing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Excel.

- Employees must show basic computer skills.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in business preferred.
- Five years' experience in healthcare PFS and a Supervisory role needed.
- Healthcare billing or follow up knowledge, coding knowledge, patient access knowledge, and fee schedule knowledge needed.
