The Pickleball Pro/Instructor delivers engaging, high-quality instruction through private lessons, clinics, and group play at Bayou Bend Fitness Center in Franklin, LA. This role focuses on enhancing members’ skills, strategy, and enjoyment of the game while fostering a fun, inclusive, and professional environment. The position is dedicated to on-court teaching and member engagement, with no administrative or program coordination duties.

Schedule: Part-Time (18-29 hours/week), shifts vary

Key Responsibilities

• Provide private, semi-private, and group pickleball lessons.
• Lead beginner, intermediate, and advanced clinics.
• Assist with skills development, strategy, and match play for members.
• Serve as a positive ambassador of the sport and facility.
• Support pickleball events as needed (socials, tournaments, exhibitions).
• Maintain a professional image consistent with Cooper Aerobics and Bayou Bend standards.

Requirements

• Pickleball certification (USAPA/PPF or equivalent) preferred but not required with strong experience.
• Proven experience teaching racquet sports or competitive pickleball play.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage players of varying skill levels.
• CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain).
