VCMS After-School Coaches ( Boys' and Girls' Soccer and Boys' Basketball) presso Valley Charter School

VCMS is in need of after-school coaches! The time commitment is two days a week for practice and one to two days a week for games. For practice, the days and hours can be determined with the coach, but practices usually run from 3:15-4:45. On game days, the coach must available 30 minutes before the game and 15 minutes after; games generally run an hour. RESPONSIBILITIES Foster an effective, equitable, team environment Run effective and safe practices Coach students in designated sport Communicate with parents professionally and effectively QUALIFICATIONS AND DESIRED TRAITS: Experience coaching students and in the sport Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership over work and collaborate effectively Team player with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly desired High School Diploma required SALARY AND BENEFITS: This position pays between $20-$22 per hour, depending on experience TO APPLY: Please submit a resume and cover letter to Stephen Lopez at [email protected]
