Job Summary:
As we continue to scale one of the fastest growing apparel brands, we are seeking a Junior Recruiter to support the full-cycle recruitment process for hourly and entry-level positions within our manufacturing operations. This role partners closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop sourcing strategies, and ensure a positive candidate experience from application to onboarding. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and motivated to identify and attract the best talent in Vermont. Starting pay is $62,000 to $65,000 annually, based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the end-to-end recruiting process for production, warehouse, and skilled trade positions.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and candidate profiles.
- Create and post job advertisements across multiple platforms to attract qualified applicants.
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, employee referrals, and community outreach.
- Conduct initial phone screens and coordinate interviews with hiring teams.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Communicate professionally with all candidates to ensure a positive experience.
- Assist with onboarding activities, including new hire paperwork and orientation coordination.
- Track key recruiting metrics and provide regular updates on hiring progress.
- Participate in job fairs and local recruiting events as needed.
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years experience in full-cycle, high-volume recruiting in manufacturing or hourly hiring preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with applicant tracking systems
- Team-oriented, professional, and committed to maintaining confidentiality and compliance
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring, recruitment, and HR
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence others
- Work well under tight timelines and ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
Working Conditions:
- Office environment, in person, on-site
- Work week is Mon-Fri, 8 hour shifts, 40 hours per week
- Some Manufacturing environment – exposure to machinery, noise and other adverse conditions for short periods of time
- Flexible nature to manage competing and changing priorities
- Travel locally to all of the organization’s sites and locations
