Job Summary
We’re looking for an experienced HSE & Fleet Manager to champion a culture of safety, compliance, and operational excellence across our organization. In this role, you’ll lead initiatives that ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs while managing all aspects of fleet compliance under DOT/FMCSA regulations. This is a hands-on leadership position. It is ideal for someone who thrives in both the field and the office, with a passion for managing safety programs and ensuring that every vehicle and driver meets the highest standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead, implement, and monitor company HSE programs to ensure regulatory and internal compliance.
- Conduct inspections, audits, risk assessments and identifying and correcting unsafe conditions.
- Manage incident investigations, root cause analyses, and follow-up actions.
- Deliver engaging safety training and onboarding for field teams.
- Oversee DOT and FMCSA compliance, including driver files, HOS, and vehicle inspections.
- Analyze safety and fleet performance data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
- Serve as the company’s liaison for DOT and state fleet audits.
- Promote a culture of accountability, prevention, and operational efficiency.
Education and Experience
- 5+ years of experience in the energy industry or related field.
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA, DOT/FMCSA, EPA, and state safety regulations.
- Proven experience managing both HSE and fleet operations.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel and work in varied environments.
- High School diploma or GED required; advanced education preferred.
