The House Manager II will assist the Associate Director, Operations with all aspects of Front of House & Venue Operations including but not limited to: Settlement / Artist Advance / VIP Advance & Execution / Security / Hospitality Advance & Execution, Front of House Run-of-Show Operations, Developing & Implementing Venue Policies & Procedures. The House Manager II is recognized as having regular independence in decision-making and able to operate as Theatre Manager/Venue Manager when none are present. This position earns between $35.37 to $53.06 plus medical, dental, vision, ltd, std and life insurance as well as paid vacation and sick time.
This role will have primary responsibility for the 5th Avenue Theatre and will support other venues as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Manage artist advance in coordination with production team.
- Manage all aspects of Front of House Operations on night-of-show.
- See to all aspects of Tour’s needs and be in direct contact with Tour Manager via cell phone, email and in-person on day-of-show.
- Manage settlement process in coordination with Programming and Finance.
- Assist with planning and execution of Venue Policies, Procedures & New Hire Orientation.
- Responsible for supervising all night-of-show Front of House Operations. Including but not limited to: Patron Ingress/Egress, Security, Seating & Ticketing.
- See to Artist’s Hospitality Rider and assist with any night-of-show backstage needs.
- Create a safe, clean, efficient & respectful work environment while exceeding Artist & Patron expectations.
- Mentor and train House Managers and Front of House employees when needed.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed, with the flexibility to take o new roles or responsibilities as the company evolves.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Ability to prioritize effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
2. Comfort and ease interacting with Tour Representatives in person, as well as over the phone & by email. 
3. Knowledge of Front & Back of House Theatre Operations, Procedures & Nomenclature.
4. Computer literate and comfort in both Excel & Word environments.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently without supervision. 
6. Must possess a positive and “Can Do” attitude.
7. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar supervisory position at comparable live music venue(s).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Vision or corrected vision close to 20/20 is necessary to effectively perform all aspects of job requirements.
2. Standing/Walking/Lifting/Sitting – about 25% of the time is spent seated at a desk.
