On Call - Mental Health Clinician

Division/Program:

Adult Inpatient Crisis Residential Treatment Facility

Starting Compensation:

31.46 to 33.46 USD Per Hour

Working Location:

Fresno, CA

Working Hours/Shift:

Per Diem / On Call Shifts available: After 5 pm (7 days per week) Minimum Availability: 4 days per month (including 2 weekend days)

What you bring to SBHG:

• Master's degree in social work, marriage & family therapy, or psychology from an accredited college or university required.
• One (1) year direct service experience in a mental health setting required (student internship and/or practicum time may be substituted).
• Experience in an inpatient therapy setting preferred.
• Mental Health Specialist II: Licensed as AMFT, ACSW, or APCC required.

How you will make a difference:

• Prepares comprehensive psychosocial evaluations and clinical documentation including intake, progress, and discharge notes.
• Assesses client readiness for admission and discharge, coordinating with treatment teams and case managers.
• Provides individual and group therapy based on client needs.
• Participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning and leads/co-leads therapeutic groups.

Division/Program Overview:

• 24/7 inpatient voluntary program

• 16-bed facility for adults (ages 18-59)

• Rehabilitation/recovery services, including substance use rehabilitation services

• Pre-vocational or vocational counseling

• Medication evaluation and support services
