Your Mission:
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures as required.
- Operates forklift, clamp truck and reach truck safely (including charging and maintenance of propane and batteries) Performance of daily PM checklist.
- Be able to complete Clamp Truck Driver checklist.
- Operate pallet inverter, automatic palletizer safely. Check inventory, locations, WIP and production schedule to accurately retrieve material from the job packet pick lists.
- Must know paperwork documentation procedures for movement of materials and be able to complete efficiently and accurately
- Work with other material handlers, operators and assistants to keep production areas serviced
- Assist less experienced material handlers when necessar
- Work toward and maintain an accurate orderly inventory by placing product in proper place
- Work in safe manner and assure co-workers work in safe manne
- Help with general housekeeping
- Perform other duties as assigned
Your Profile:
- Manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Minimum of a High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
- Work schedules are normally 8 or 12 hours
- May be scheduled for rotating days off
- Must be able to work any scheduled times, including overnight and weekend shifts
- Must be able to work overtime as needed, including extra hours on short notice
- Standing for extended periods
- Must be able to complete assigned task during shift and meet reasonable expectations
- Awkward and/or repetitive movements
- Climbing ladders and/or stairways
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. repeatedly and up to 50 lbs. frequently for up to 12 hours
- Reading computer screen or other electronic devices
- Use of various hand and electrical tools and equipment
- Work in areas of fluctuating temperature
- Required to wear personal protective equipment (including but not limited to steel toe shoes, earplugs, safety glasses, and hairnet)
- Ability to use hand truck, drum dolly, and electric pallet jack as needed
- Regularly works near moving mechanical parts
